Abstract
The article considers the issues of applying the applied content of mathematics in its teaching. The applied content of mathematics consists in solving practice-oriented mathematical problems, i.e. we have touched upon the issues of interdisciplinary integration. Currently, the problems of differentiation and integration are of great interest, which is due to the process of development of scientific knowledge. We also considered the need to disclose an abstract approach to solving mathematical problems based on the specific practical meaning of the solution. This learning approach helps students to form and improve their mathematical competencies
