The Bulletin of the Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University protects the confidentiality of the personal data of authors, reviewers, editors and website users.

Names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, academic qualifications and other information provided are used solely for:

  • user registration;
  • the submission and consideration of manuscripts;
  • the organisation of peer review;
  • editorial correspondence;
  • the publication of articles;
  • DOI registration, indexing and archiving of materials;
  • the consideration of complaints, appeals and matters relating to publication ethics.

Personal data are not sold or used for commercial advertising. They may be disclosed only to persons and organisations involved in the editorial and publishing process, including editors, reviewers, the publisher, technical service providers, DOI registration agencies, academic databases and archiving systems.

Manuscripts, peer review reports, editorial decisions and correspondence are confidential. Editors and reviewers must not disclose them to third parties, use unpublished materials for personal purposes or upload them to publicly accessible artificial intelligence systems.

Following publication of an article, the journal may publish the author’s name, institutional affiliation, academic degree, ORCID identifier, the corresponding author’s email address, and information concerning funding and conflicts of interest.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the lawful use of the personal data of research participants, obtaining informed consent and complying with confidentiality requirements.

Users have the right to request access to their personal data, correction of those data, restriction of their processing or their deletion, provided that this does not conflict with applicable legislation or with the need to preserve the integrity of the scholarly publication record.

Information concerning authorship, published articles, corrections and retractions may be retained indefinitely as part of the journal’s scholarly archive.

Personal data are processed in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the extent that it is applicable.
