Abstract

This article examines comparisons of phraseological units of English and Russian origin, taking into account their meanings and cultural influence. The article highlights differences in set expressions, discusses the difficulties of their translation and their role in cultural context, emphasizing the importance of studying phraseology for a deep understanding of cultural characteristics and linguistic traditions
