Abstract

The article examines the use of interactive games as an effective method for learning English in higher education institutions. Particular attention is given to their role in developing communication skills, increasing student motivation, and creating a language environment that simulates real-life communication practices. Examples of interactive games adaptable for educational purposes are provided, including role-playing games, quests, quizzes, and language simulations. The advantages and potential challenges of implementing this method are discussed, along with recommendations for their effective integration into the learning process. It is emphasized that interactive games not only facilitate language learning but also promote the development of critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity among students. A comparative analysis of games and more traditional practices is also presented
