Abstract
This article explores the barriers that impede the successful integration of students with disabilities into the educational environment of universities in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The primary focus is on issues such as architectural barriers, lack of necessary material and technical support, communication difficulties between students with disabilities and their ablebodied peers, as well as a lack of understanding of the benefits of inclusive education for both healthy students and those with disabilities. The research findings underscore the importance of overcoming these barriers to create an inclusive educational environment where all students have equal opportunities for learning and self-realization
