Abstract
The article states that reading and writing are important in primary school because they form the basis for mastering other subjects and developing general skills. It is said that difficulties in learning to read and write in primary school can be caused by many factors, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, poor language skills, and vision or hearing problems. When a child masters reading and writing skills, he or she develops self-confidence and the ability to learn independently. It is believed that success in mastering these skills is the basis for developing self-confidence. It is noted that another factor causing difficulties in learning to read and write is the inconsistency of teaching methods and technologies with the age and functional capabilities of students. It is shown that the school, teacher, and parents should be prepared for these problems, help children, and most importantly, make the right decision in solving the problems that have arisen. It is noted that various methods can be used to reduce students' difficulties in learning to read and write in primary school
