Abstract

This article examines the role of text in the process of teaching the Russian language in a Kyrgyz school. Texts are of great importance for language learning. The most important from a methodological point of view are the holistic structure of the meaning and content of the text, sentence structure, theme, style and grammatical structure. In Russian language lessons, texts can be both a source and a means of teaching various types of understanding of oral and written language and developing skills
