Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of educational problems in universities in the era of digital transformation. In the context of the rapid development of information technologies and their implementation in the educational process, higher education institutions are faced with a number of challenges that require adaptation and rethinking of traditional teaching methods. The paper addresses key issues including the lack of digital literacy among educators, the need to modernize infrastructure and curriculum, and issues of data security and privacy. Particular attention is paid to the changing roles of teacher and student in the new digital context, where the emphasis is shifting to hybrid and distance learning
