Abstract
One of the main driving forces in the socio-economic and digital development of the country is the education system. There is no doubt that the teacher's place here is special. And the role of a teacher in the development of modern society depends on his training in accordance with the requirements of the time and increasing students' interest in learning and cognitive activity. As a result of the study, 9 teacher requirements were identified. Their role in the modernization of pedagogical education is revealed, as a result, it is concluded that certain requirements can be met through the formation of communicative, professional-ethical, ethnopedagogic competencies, technological, psychological, analytical, creative skills of a future teacher, the development of self-actualization. The results of the study can serve as a reference material for determining the strategic goals of the modern teacher training system
