Abstract
In contemporary teaching conditions, the problem of organizing students' self-study is becoming quite urgent. This article discusses the issue of organizing independent work of students. The author draws attention to the goals, objectives and conditions of organizing independent work of students and notes that multimedia technologies have wide didactics in activating independent cognitive activity of students. The methodical advantages of using multimedia technologies in the educational process, as well as the basic requirements for the design of multimedia materials, are considered. Multimedia technologies contribute to the creativity of students and provide interactivity when interacting with educational material
