Abstract
This article shows the psychological basis of computer addiction in adolescents and its impact on their psychological well-being. The introduction provides a brief overview of the problem and its relevance in the modern world. The main part analyzes the psychological mechanisms underlying the development of computer addiction, as well as psychological needs that can be satisfied through online activities. It also examines the risk factors that influence the development of addiction and the consequences it can have on adolescents. In conclusion, practical recommendations for the prevention and treatment of computer addiction in adolescents are proposed. The study is carried out taking into account cultural and social aspects, which helps to understand the complexity of this problem in modern society
