Abstract

This article explores the core competencies needed by leaders in the field of green economic management. In the context of a changing environmental situation and the growing influence of climate factors, the role of leadership becomes key to the successful implementation and maintenance of sustainable practices in organizations and communities. Leaders in green economic management must have diverse skills, including strategic thinking, the ability to motivate staff, the ability to think innovatively and adapt to change. They must also have a deep understanding of environmental problems and how to solve them, as well as the ability to effectively communicate their ideas and goals. The authors examine the importance of training and developing these competencies in leaders, and offer practical recommendations for their development and application in the context of green management. The study highlights the need for leaders to actively engage in creating sustainable policies and practices that promote environmental conservation and long-term environmental sustainability
