Abstract

This article discusses the theories of intercultural communication, contributing to the successful implementation of intercultural education. The authors describe theoretical studies of intercultural communication. The different approaches to its study are considered: systemic, positivist, humanistic, functionalist and post-structuralist approaches. It was concluded that studies in the field of intercultural communication make a certain contribution to the field of research of intercultural education, namely, that such studies should be focused on individual subjective interpretations and should investigate social relations between people
