Abstract
The paper is devoted to the problem of teaching foreign students the intonation component of Russian speech. The article identifies the types of tasks that allow minimising the difficulties that students may encounter in the learning process. The types of tasks proposed in this article involve working on ready-made teaching material provided by the teacher (texts, dialogues, video and audio materials). The article also presents the types of tasks involving independent and creative work of foreign students (responding to the speaker's response, making a statement according to a plan, etc.)
