Abstract

The issues of improving the mathematical education of students in the conditions of credit technology of education, as well as the modern concept of practice-oriented teaching of the mathematics course are considered. Currently, in the field of education, the issues of functional literacy of students are raised - mathematical literacy. And of great interest are the problems of differentiation and integration, which is due to the process of development of scientific knowledge. The integration of lifelong mathematical education makes it possible to improve the process of teaching mathematics from elementary mathematics to the university course of mathematics. The article also discusses questions about the need to disclose an abstract approach to solving mathematical problems based on the specific practical meaning of the solution. This teaching approach helps students to form and improve mathematical competencies
