Abstract
The article deals with the question of the culture of information competence of a specialist in a two-level education system. He emphasized that modern times require specialists not only to have knowledge in their field, but also the ability to navigate the information environment, select and process information, and effectively use it to solve problems. The Kyrgyz language requires other methods and technologies of the learning process, which makes it possible for students to lose the level of informational competence. Emphasizes several aspects of information competence: search, selection, analysis, evaluation and use of information. He emphasizes that each of these aspects must be taken into account in the training of specialists, which will allow them to work effectively in an information-rich world. In conclusion, it is emphasized that information competence is becoming increasingly important for a specialist in the modern world. It helps him navigate the information environment, select and process information, and use it effectively to achieve his goals
