Abstract
The Bologna process and state educational standards of higher educational standards of higher education in Kyrgyzstan determined the need to review and update approaches to university education and review the didactic system that has developed in educational institutions of our republic. The purpose of the study is the effectiveness of the formation of functional literacy among university students in a credit system,provided bu the creation of psychological pedagogical conditions, as well as theoretical methodological justifications for this problem. Research methods are the theoretical analysis of scientific and educational methodological literature on the formation of functional literacy of students.
