Abstract

The article deals with the study of the needs in the study of the Japanese language of students of the university of KSU. I. Arabaeva. The data of the conducted pedagogical research are given, the results of the study of the needs in the study of the Japanese language of first-year students of the Institute of Japanese Studies of KSU named after. I. Arabaeva. The needs analysis method used had a positive effect on both participants in the educational process. Students began to better understand themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as why they study Japanese, learned to set realistic goals, determined which language skills and abilities they possess and which ones need to be developed, increased responsibility, independence and activity.
