Abstract
The outstanding scientist, philologist T. Samanchin in his research work "Our literature in the colonial era" described in detail and analyzed the artistic creativity of the Kyrgyz from the XIX century to the October Revolution. In his analysis, he investigated the syncretism of the singing art and the polyfunctionality of the poet in society. And in our article, a very deep, thorough and extensive presentation of the above research was analyzed. Based on the research of T. Samanchin determined that the nature of oral poetry is connected with music, each genre has its own voice, melody and songs, and oral poetic creativity is performed in front of the listener. Also, oral poetry merged with folk history, goals, sorrows and joys, it came to an understanding that akyn is a komuz-player, composer, artist, ideologist, the polyfunctionality of poetic art was revealed. T. Samanchin divided poets into four groups according to their creative characteristics: akyn-mentors, akyn-comedians, storytellers and comic masters of words. As a result of this distribution, their differences, similarities and commonalities were clarified
