Abstract

This study analyzes the basic UN documents proclaiming and revealing the content of freedom of information. The norms of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic were also considered for compliance with internationally recognized standards on freedom of information, as a result of which wording was identified that could lead to a likely unreasonable limitations of rights and freedoms; recommendations are offered
