Abstract

This article reviewed the mental health and psychosocial issues during the Covid 19 pandemic in schoolchildren and analyzed the criteria for assessing the mental health of schoolchildren. The concept of "mental health" is important and relevant in the modern world and during a pandemic, that it acts as a central concept in the modern professional activity of a psychologist. We notice that during the rapid development of the coronavirus pandemic, a larger number of Kyrgyz citizens experienced negative psychological conditions. This is especially true for schoolchildren, as one of the most vulnerable and receptive strata of society
