Abstract

The article is devoted to the relationship of grammar and lexis of Kyrgyz and other modern Turkic languages. The author of the article describes these questions from the point of view of professor K.Dyikanov working on problem of the averaged Turkic language‘s formation. K.Dyikanov was sure that unification of alphabets and lexis will make the turkic languages closer to each other and communication between speakers will be possible without translation. In the article there is also information on Arabic, Latin and Russian alphabets used by the Kyrgyz in the past. The article gives explanation on the formation of long vowels in the Kyrgyz. Irregular usage of phonetic doublets of words and the same lexical meanings for different words raise uncertainty among speakers
