The article is devoted to the diverse formation of schoolchildren through aesthetic perception in organizations of additional education. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, it examines the issues of purposeful use of the free time of teenagers and the problems of the development of their creative abilities. In particular, the issues of aesthetic education of adolescents through the applied arts of the Kyrgyz people, as well as the forms and methods of their dissemination among schoolchildren, are disclosed
