Abstract

On July 17, 2023, the Constitutional Law  ―On the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic‖ was signed, and from now on, requirements for maintaining official documentation in the state language in state and municipal government bodies are established. It is known that this law caused great debate in society. To analyze the extent to which the requirements of the law are met, the process of maintaining official documents in the state language in the municipal territorial administration of the city of Bishkek was studied
