Abstract

The article is dedicated to the anniversary – the 90th anniversary – of one of the oldest and most authoritative universities in the post-Soviet space – al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The stages of creation and formation of a university are given. The goals, objectives, priorities, achievements of the university today and its plans for the future are presented
