Abstract

The media industry is closely linked to the development of technology, and along with this, the media is expanding and acquiring new capacity. With the proliferation of new technologies and increasing speed of the Internet, the term ―podcast‖ has emerged in the media world. Although podcasts were originally developed in the field of digital audio media, video podcasts have recently become even more popular. As part of this review article, the experience of podcasting in Kyrgyzstan was studied. For the analysis, article considers the data collected by Kyrgyz podcasts in 2021 and 2024. For this purpose, article discusses topics related to the history and specificities of podcasts in Kyrgyzstan, areas of use, creators of podcasts
