Abstract

This article will analyze China's strategic regional planning, because Today, China is one of the most developing countries in the world. The purpose of this article was to review the main approaches to strategic planning in China. The object of the study was successful practices in implementing strategic planning in China. The current strategic planning system in the PRC takes into account long-, medium- and short-term development and is compiled with the help of experts from the Academy of Sciences, research centers of the State Council and the Committee for Development and Reform of the PRC. Regional development strategies take into account the characteristics of modern global trends, assess their own resources and rates of development, and use assessments of various central and regional departments. Policies for each region of China are different and determined by both objective (geography) and subjective factors. The issues of forming a strategy for the socio-economic development of the region, basic concepts, essence, and various approaches to developing a strategy for the socio-economic development of the region are considered. The role of strategic planning in the life of the region in a market economy is determined, its necessity for the successful functioning of all processes occurring in the subject
