Abstract
This article discusses the conceptual features of color names in proverbs and sayings. The article examines the features of the poetics of white and black colors in proverbs and sayings, concludes that they form the basis of a stable antonymy, which helps to understand the features of the artistic picture of the world created by the people, and also helps to clarify philosophical and aesthetic views. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the colors of white and black in proverbs and sayings are little studied in the Kazakh language. In order to further continue and supplement these studies, the author conducted extensive research work The color palette in proverbs attracts attention. The color range obeys the ideological and thematic, draws characteristic clear contrasts, and most importantly performs certain functions. It is proved that the meanings of the words "black" and "white" can have both positive meanings and negative characteristics
