Abstract

This article presents the results of the economic expedition of 1926 under the leadership of N.V. Volens, which took place as part of the First Complex Expedition of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Yakutia in 1925-1930. The expedition is unique not only because it took place on the vast territory of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic for the first time, but also because of the conditions under which it was carried out and what results it achieved in just one year of work. Economic detachment N.V. Wolens carried out work on the comparative profitability of various sectors of the economy in the 1920s, not only by ulus of residence, but also traced changes in the elements of the economics of households along ethnographic lines
