Abstract

Thе article analyzes the energy situation in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, with an emphasis on the use of coal and its environmental impact. Both countries prioritize reducing coal consumption and transitioning to renewable resources in line with global climate initiatives. The article highlights the importance of this step for ensuring sustainable development in Central Asia, where the use of coal in the heating season plays a key role in the energy structure
