Abstract
The article examines the improvement of road safety, aimed at saving lives. Road safety is one of the important socio-economic and demographic objectives of the Kyrgyz Republic. Accidents in road transport cause enormous material damage both to society as a whole and to individual citizens. The statistics of deaths as a result of road traffic accidents has become a familiar picture and is perceived by the population as something ordinary. Children die and become disabled. In resent years, there has been a tendency in Kyrgyzstan to increase road traffic accidents with severe consequences. This is influenced by a number of factors, including an increase in the number of cars, non-compliance with traffic rules, as well as a low level of their knowledge by drivers
