This article describes the study of homonyms, one of the lexical units in the Kyrgyz language, by Professor Karboz Dyikanov. This phenomenon has been studied by the scientist at a high level and is presented in his several works in the form of a table. Indeed, the question of studying homonyms generates a lot of controversial opinions, thereby arousing interest on the part of scientists in this topic. Proceeding from this goal, Karboz Dyikanov tried to clarify a number of issues related to homonyms, outlined his scientific and theoretical views and gave many examples based on a number of reasoned factual materials confirming this. Turning to the question of studying homonyms and focusing on the scientific research of the scientist, we decided to write this article. We think that this small work can become valuable material in the study of homonyms in the Kyrgyz language. Here the written material is explained by several examples
