Abstract

In the folklore picture of the world, people's consciousness is embodied in a linguistic form. The ideas about the beauty of a person in the language of the Bashkir folk art testify to the significance of these fragments of the national picture in the minds of native speakers of the Bashkir language. They reflect both universal and national-specific ideas about the phenomenon of beauty in the Bashkir culture. Folklore texts explicate the beauty of human appearance in the Bashkir mentality. In folk art, the fact is emphasized that, despite the importance of the spirit, the inner face cannot obscure the other face of a person - the outer face. The people created a number of poetic formulas and expressions to represent the beauty of heroes and characters that come to life and act in folklore texts
