Abstract

Ch. Aitmatov's novel "When Mountains Fall" ( "Eternal Bride") there are many similarities with the kyrgyz people folklore and the epоs "Manas". Mythopoietic nature of one of the main characters of the novel Zhaabars is considered in the intertwining of the Kyrgyz national character, world perception. The novel  artificially worked out the mythological artistic world based on the origins of Kyrgyz culture, centuries-old spiritual values and on features of a national character
