Abstract

The article considers the role of materialistic dialectics as a methodology of modern mathematics, which begins in the seventeenth century. Noting the purposeful entry of dialectics as a method of thinking in seventeenth-century mathematics in connection with its transition to the study of variables. And the period of the dawn of variable mathematics is modern mathematics
