Abstract

In the early years of the formation of market relations in the Kyrgyz Republic, the problem of child poverty did not fall into the focus of attention of the scientific and expert community, since it was perceived as a temporary aggravation of socio-economic problems in the context of reforms. This article shows that a natural consequence of the development of events was an increase in the scale of child poverty, which, in turn, could not be ignored by society
